Filling the Gap Where It Matters Most
The Khyiris Tonga Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on faith, family, and Polynesian culture. Founded by New England Patriots defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga and his father George Tonga, the mission is simple: fill the gap for youth facing emotional, spiritual, and mental health challenges.
We know what it’s like to grow up without access to the right support. That’s why we step in—not just to inspire, but to equip. Through culturally rooted mentorship, mental wellness resources, and year-round community events, we help young people build confidence, find their voice, and begin healing.
Our Why
Too many young people suffer in silence from anxiety, depression, pressure, and generational trauma. Add cultural stigma and lack of resources, and you’ve got youth trying to navigate storms without a compass.
We exist to fill that gap, offering mentorship, life skills, and safe spaces for youth to feel seen, heard, and empowered.
This foundation was born from lived experience. Khyiris grew up knowing the power of family, faith, and resilience—but also saw firsthand the struggles that too many youth face in silence. Today, he uses his platform to be more than just an athlete—to be a gap-filler for the next generation.
